SIPPEREC

SIPPEREC is a mixed union. In addition to the historical competence to manage electricity distribution on behalf of municipalities, the union has gradually developed other competences:

• electronic communications networks and audiovisual communication services
• the development of renewable energies
• geographic information systems
• public lighting charging infrastructures

In connection with these competences, SIPPEREC offers local authorities various services of general interest such as shared public procurement, control and collection of the public domain occupancy charge for telecommunications, the municipal tax on final electricity consumption or the valuation of energy saving certificates.
